Grammy's Birthday Dinner

In October we went out to eat for Grammy's Birthday!  Always lots of fun taking ALL the kids out to dinner:)

The Beach (In September)

O.k. its been a few months...but here goes the update.  In September we went to the beach with Grammy and Gramppy, Amy and Jeff (or Jeppa as he has been affectionately nicknamed) We had an awesome time!!  Isaac and Nathan loved playing on the beach and Kate decided it was the perfect place to nap:)   

A Visit From The Popiels and The Zoo!!

We had the chance to visit with our cousins when the Popiels came to town for a few days.  We had a slumber party with Nate, Noah and Michelle and we also got the chance to go to the zoo and have a big family BBQ!!  We had lots and lots of fun...it was great to see everyone!

Kate at Two Months

Kate recently had her 2 month well visit with her pediatrician to be weighed and measured.  She weighed 13lbs. and was 25in. long!!  She is growing and changing so quick.  She is the best baby a mommy could ask for...we are so blessed!

The 4th of July and BobBob's Birthday Celebration

We spent the 4th celebrating traditional patriotic festivities and also celebrating our Grandfather's (Nathan, Isaac and Kate's great-grandfather)  birthday at our Aunt and Uncle's lake house.  We all had a blast and truly appreciate Donna and Mike's hospitality!!

Germany

A few weeks after Kate was born Brent had a couple of work trips he had to leave town for...one was a conference at Jekyll Island for a week and then one in Germany.  Thanks to a lot of prayers and the amazing help of my parents...I made it through a rough couple of weeks (husbandless with a newborn, 18 month old and a 3 year old).  Here are a couple pics of Brent's trip to Germany.

(supposedly a pretty average rental...yes he took it on the autobahn...hard to resist the autobahn when you are in a rental)  

Kathryn "Kate" Virginia Henson

Finally!  Kate has made her arrival.  Brent and I welcomed a precious baby girl on May the 7th at 6:58pm.  The labor was pretty quick (we checked in to the hospital at 3:45pm) and the delivery (we decided on a water birth this time) went very smooth.  She weighed in at 7.9 oz and measured 19.5 in. long.  Recovering has taken a little longer, but I know God has amazing plans for our little family and we will be up and about very soon.  Thanks to all for your thoughts and prayers.
